along with Prostrate and Breast Cancer Services at

Letterkenny General Hospital both benefited from a Charity Fashion Show that was held on Tuesday 2nd October 07 in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny.

Compere for the night was Mr Paul Mc Loone, Bord Failte himself a cancer patient.

The aim of the fashion show was two fold, to raise much needed funds towards improved cancer care and equally importnat is to raise the profile of cancer patients well- being.

Models on the night were all cancer patients. By doing this it is hoped to raise awareness that not only is it possible to survive cancer but that appearance/style and self image is as important to patients as it is to everyone and indeed can contribute to the person’s wellbeing.

It was a great celebration of Wellness, Survival and Life!

Over 700 people attended and the atmosphere was

full of positivity, fun and stlye.

The event was a great success.

Sincere Thanks to all the business’s, models, children, those who attended and anyone who helped in any way.

The Glenswilly Branch of DACC will be keeping us informed of how it all went.

Well Done Everyone!
